md/dnb in internal medicine

• excellent domain knowledge to guide mo to diagnose and

manage medical conditions as per the purview of their speciality
through telemedicine consultation.

• internal medicine (support in management of communicable

disease, non communicable disease, other general ailments not
responding to treatment)

• paediatrics (management of newborn and pediatric cases upto 18

years)

• obstetrics and gynaecology (antenatal cases, post natal cases and

gynaecological conditions

• communication skills in hindi, local language as applicable to the

states

• counsel the beneficiary on lifestyle changes and appropriate

preventive measures.

• ability to use technology (application) to document the clinical

findings and prescribe the medicine/suggest appropriate
management.
key roles/responsibilities:

• should be able to diagnose the condition after eliciting proper history and based on

findings of clinical examination done by mo/gnm and available laboratory parameters.

• should recommend appropriate medication as per the condition of the patient.

• should be able to provide support in capacity building activities for gnm based on the

observations in handling telemedicine calls.

• should be able to document their clinical findings and data on daily call handling and

share meaning interpretation out of the data in a periodic manner.
