Job Title: Medical Coding Tutor (Full-Time)

About the Role

We are hiring a Medical Coding Tutor for our Vyttila, Kochi center. The tutor will be responsible for guiding students through practical medical coding skills and fostering a dynamic environment that supports their professional growth in ICD, CPT, HCPCS coding, billing procedures, and healthcare compliance.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily medical coding classes for aspiring professionals.

Introduce foundational concepts such as ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding standards, medical terminology, billing guidelines, and compliance regulations.

Prepare and organize learning materials, case studies, and hands-on projects like mock coding audits.

Observe and assess each student's progress, providing individual guidance as needed.

Encourage creativity, practical skills, and real-world application in a student-centered environment.

Maintain proper lesson records, attendance, and progress reports.

Communicate regularly with students and the academic team to ensure career-ready development.?

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Life Sciences, or related field (mandatory).

0-1 year or more experience in medical coding or training (freshers with certifications like CPC/CCC welcome).

Strong understanding of medical coding tools, trends, and standards.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Passionate about teaching and empowering future coding professionals.

Ability to create an engaging and interactive learning environment.

Working Hours

Full-time: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
