Updated Requirements
To be considered for this specialized role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Experience:
2+ years of experience
specifically in a
training, auditing, or supervisory
capacity within a medical coding environment.
HCC (Hierarchical Condition Categories):
Risk adjustment modeling and RADV audit readiness.
Surgery:
Mastery of CPT coding for major surgical specialties.
E&M:
Expert-level knowledge of 2021/2023 outpatient and inpatient E&M guideline changes.
IP-DRG:
Strong understanding of the Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) and ICD-10-PCS.
