Job Description

We are looking for a

certified and detail-oriented Medical Coder

to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will

review medical records and accurately assign CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes

for diagnoses, treatments, and procedures to ensure

accurate medical billing and reimbursement

. The ideal candidate will collaborate with healthcare providers, billing teams, and compliance departments to maintain

coding accuracy and adherence to regulatory guidelines

.

Responsibilities:

Review and analyze clinical documentation

to assign accurate

ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes

for diagnoses, procedures, and services.

Ensure coding accuracy and compliance

with

federal regulations, payer policies, and HIPAA guidelines

.

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers

to verify and clarify medical documentation for precise code assignment.

Investigate and resolve coding-related denials, rejections, and audit queries

to support accurate claim processing.

Stay updated with current coding guidelines, payer requirements, and industry best practices

.

Work closely with the revenue cycle management team

to improve reimbursement accuracy and minimize claim denials.

Skills:

Strong

analytical, communication, and organizational skills

with a keen eye for detail. Proven ability to

work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

.

Qualifications:

Hands-on

medical coding experience

across

inpatient, outpatient, and specialty-specific cases

. In-depth knowledge of

medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

essential for

accurate CPT and ICD-10 coding

.

Education Requirements

:

Any life science degree Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or equivalent required.

Experience Requirements

:

Experience in medical coding (inpatient, outpatient, or specialty-specific, depending on role).
