Vericle is a Health IT and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) service company. We are looking for a full-time Medical Coding Team Leader.
Responsibilities: Build and manage a medical coding service team, including hiring, process workflow, and SOP development, training, and quality assurance.

• Responsible for coding and abstracting patient encounters, including diagnostic and procedural information, significant reportable elements, and complications.

• Review all coded terms within the clinical database for accuracy and consistency and appropriately address coding discrepancies or inconsistencies.

• Accurately generate data queries where applicable to resolve coding discrepancies.

• Research and analyze data needs for reimbursement.

• Analyze medical records and identify documentation deficiencies.

• Maintain coding documentation within project files as appropriate.

• Develop, review, and updates Data Management Coding Study Specific Procedures when applicable.

• Generate and review status reports and metrics as appropriate. Provide feedback on the development of coding timelines.

• Build a continuous learning process for coding.

• Only graduates of Life Sciences, Mathematics, or Computers (LMC).

• Candidates should have completed Medical Coding training.

• CPC Certified.

• Experience: 4-5 years

• Good communication skills

• Good knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology

• CPC certified

• High comfort level working on the Eastern Time Zone/US Shift

• Excellent and undisturbed broadband internet access at home

• Backup internet such as Mobile Hotspot

• Laptop/Desktop with exemplary hardware configuration with at least 8 GB of RAM
