What You'll Do

Convert clinical documentation into compliant

ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS

codes Validate medical records for completeness, accuracy, and coding consistency Collaborate with physicians to improve documentation quality and reduce rework Assist in

coding audits, risk adjustment reviews, and denial prevention

Ensure adherence to

HIPAA, CMS, and payer-specific guidelines

Support revenue optimization by minimizing coding errors and claim delays Continuously update coding knowledge to align with industry and regulatory changes

What Makes You a Good Fit

Strong foundation in

medical terminology, anatomy, and disease processes

Ability to interpret complex clinical notes with accuracy and consistency High level of concentration, integrity, and attention to detail Comfortable working independently while meeting productivity benchmarks

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with

EHR systems

such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech Knowledge of

HCC / Risk Adjustment coding

is an added advantage Familiarity with payer audits and compliance workflows

Education & Certification

Bachelor's degree in

Life Sciences, Allied Health, or a related discipline

Active

CPC, CCS, or equivalent AAPC/AHIMA certification

Experience

Previous professional experience in

medical coding or healthcare documentation
