Key Responsibilities
Review medical records and assign accurate ICD-10-CM codes for HCC/Risk Adjustment.
Maintain compliance with CMS and internal coding standards.
Extract relevant clinical information from patient documentation.
Participate in audits and apply feedback to enhance accuracy and productivity.
Collaborate with team leads and QA to resolve coding queries and discrepancies.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
Qualifications
Proficiency in ICD-10-CM coding guidelines.
Certified or trained medical coders are encouraged to apply.
CPC, CRC, or equivalent certifications preferred.
Education
Any graduate.
Experience
Prior experience in medical coding is required.
