We are seeking a skilled, certified Medical Coder to be a part of our growing healthcare team. Your mission: transform clinical documentation into accurate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes that support smooth billing, proper reimbursement, and compliance with industry regulations. You will work closely with physicians, billing experts, and compliance teams to ensure precision and uphold healthcare coding standards.

9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Day Shift) / 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret medical records to assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes Ensure compliance with federal regulations, payer rules, and HIPAA standards Coordinate with healthcare providers to validate documentation and coding accuracy Address claim denials and audit queries through investigative review Stay current with coding guidelines, regulatory updates, and industry changes Partner with the revenue cycle team to support clean claim submissions and reduce denials

Qualifications:

Hands-on coding experience in inpatient, outpatient, and/or specialty-specific settings Thorough understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Certifications: CPC, CCS, or equivalent

Education:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Life Sciences or related field

Experience:

Proven experience in medical coding (specialty and setting based on role)
