FLY Consulting Services is hiring for the role of Medical Coding. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is a full-time position.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Medical Coder with 4 to 6 years of experience
• Certification in Medical Coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, AHIMA) required
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Familiarity with Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proficient in using coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

• Assign appropriate medical codes to patient records using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Review patient documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
• Identify and report documentation and coding errors to the appropriate parties
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding issues
• Stay up-to-date with coding changes and attend training sessions as required
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information
• Meet productivity and quality targets set by the company
