Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented

Medical Coder

with CPC certification to join our US healthcare RCM team. The role is ideal for entry-level coders or those with up to 6 months of professional experience. You will accurately assign medical codes to patient records, ensuring compliance with US coding guidelines and supporting the revenue cycle process.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze patient medical records, charts, and documentation Assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes accurately Ensure coding compliance with CMS guidelines, ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HIPAA regulations Support claims processing and revenue cycle functions Identify and escalate incomplete or inconsistent documentation to providers Maintain accurate coding logs and records for audit purposes Collaborate with billing and clinical teams to resolve coding queries

Qualifications & Skills:

Certification:

CPC (AAPC) - mandatory 0-6 months of medical coding experience (US healthcare preferred) Basic understanding of US healthcare RCM processes Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication skills for collaborating with clinical and billing teams Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus
