Communicating with insurance companies:

Addresses coding errors and disputes with insurance providers.

Data analysis and reporting:

Contributes to data analysis and research by submitting statistical data.

Professional development:

Keeps up-to-date with the latest medical coding guidelines and regulations.

Verifying documentation:

Reviews documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Auditing:

Conducts chart audits to ensure coding accuracy
