About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Medical Coder

with strong expertise in

UAE medical coding standards

, particularly Abu Dhabi (DoH/HAAD). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience coding

Surgeries, Outpatient (OP), and multi-specialty procedures

. This role is primarily remote from India but requires short-term travel to UAE.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately assign

ICD-10-AM

,

CPT

, and

UAE-specific DoH/HAAD coding guidelines

. Review clinical documentation and ensure compliant, precise code selection for

Surgery, OP, IP

, and other medical specialty encounters. Ensure coding accuracy and adherence to UAE regulatory requirements. Work closely with physicians, auditors, and billing teams to clarify documentation and resolve coding queries. Conduct coding quality checks to ensure revenue cycle accuracy. Maintain confidentiality and comply with international and UAE healthcare regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum

2-4 years of experience

in medical coding. Strong experience coding

Surgery, Outpatient, and related specialties

. Hands-on experience in

UAE coding

(Abu Dhabi - DoH/HAAD standards). Deep understanding of

ICD-10-AM

,

CPT

,

HCPCS

, and UAE claim submission protocols. Must be

willing and able to travel to UAE (Abu Dhabi) for 2 months

immediately. Must hold a

valid passport

. Certification preferred:

CPC/CCA/CCS/CCS-P or UAE coding certifications

. Excellent communication and documentation review skills.

Preferred Attributes

Prior experience working with UAE/Abu Dhabi healthcare providers or TPAs. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Strong analytical and quality-focused mindset.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
