About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented

Executive - Medical Coding

to join our team in Calicut. The ideal candidate will have strong coding expertise, hold a valid medical coding certification, and bring a background in medical or paramedical sciences. Key Responsibilities

Accurately assign medical codes to diagnoses and procedures using ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. Review and analyze medical records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with medical staff and internal teams to clarify documentation and resolve coding-related queries. Ensure adherence to compliance guidelines, payer regulations, and organizational policies. Maintain confidentiality of patient health information in line with HIPAA and company standards. Participate in audits, quality checks, and process improvements to enhance coding accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum of

1 year of coding experience or Certified Freshers

(excluding HCC coding). Must be a

certified medical coder

from

AAPC or AHIMA

. Educational background in

Medical or Paramedical sciences

(mandatory). Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding guidelines.

UAE experience

in medical coding will be considered an added advantage. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a structured environment.

Preferred Skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team. Proficiency in using coding software and healthcare documentation systems. Strong organizational and time management skills.
