We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our billing and data entry team as a

Medical Biller

. This position is ideal for freshers or individuals with limited experience in medical billing, but who have a strong interest in healthcare administration and data entry. As a Medical Biller, you will support the healthcare organization by ensuring accurate entry of patient information, insurance details, and medical billing codes.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will have the opportunity to learn and grow in the field of medical billing, coding, and insurance claims processing.

Key Responsibilities

:

Data Entry

: Accurately enter patient demographics, insurance details, medical codes, and billing information into the healthcare management software or billing system.

Medical Billing

: Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies for reimbursement of medical services provided. Ensure all required documents are included and claims are submitted timely.

Verify Information

: Ensure all patient and insurance data is correct and up-to-date.

Review Medical Records

: Assist in reviewing patient medical records for proper coding, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Monitor Claims

: Track the status of submitted claims, follow up on denials, and assist in resolving issues to ensure timely payments.

Maintain Confidentiality

: Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines, safeguarding patient and healthcare information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Communication

: Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing issues and answer basic inquiries.

Training and Development

: Participate in ongoing training to learn medical billing codes, industry standards, and software tools used in the billing process.
