Job Description

Radiology Billing & Coding:

Accurately perform medical billing and coding for a comprehensive range of radiology services, including X-rays, mammograms, ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRIs. You will apply the correct codes to insurance claims to ensure maximum reimbursement.

Claims Management:

Prepare and submit insurance claims electronically, ensuring all information is accurate, complete, and compliant with all relevant regulations.

Accounts Receivable & Follow-up:

Proactively manage accounts receivable by following up with insurance companies to resolve claim issues, track payment statuses, and ensure timely reimbursements. You will also generate aging reports to identify and address long-standing claims.

Accounts Payable:

Assist with the management of accounts payable as needed.

Data Entry & Reporting:

Maintain accurate and detailed records of all billing and coding activities. You will contribute to regular reports on performance metrics and revenue cycle efficiency.

Continuous Learning:

Participate in ongoing training to stay updated with the latest coding guidelines and to align with our specific needs and processes.

Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:

medical billing and coding: 5 years (Preferred)
