to join our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. This role is responsible for accurately entering and posting charges into the billing system, ensuring compliance with payer and regulatory guidelines, and supporting timely reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately
post medical charges
into the practice management/billing system
Review charge documents for
completeness, accuracy, and compliance
Validate CPT, ICD-10, and modifier information prior to posting
Resolve charge discrepancies and coordinate with coding and billing teams
Ensure charges are posted within defined
turnaround time (TAT)
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies
Generate and review charge-related reports as needed
Support audits and quality checks related to charge capture and posting
Required Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in
Medical Billing or RCM - Charge Posting
Strong knowledge of
CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and modifiers
Familiarity with EHR/PM systems (Epic, Athena, eClinicalWorks, etc.)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet productivity and quality benchmarks
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in multi-specialty or hospital billing
Understanding of end-to-end Revenue Cycle workflows
Certification in Medical Billing or Coding (preferred, not required)
