Key Requirements

10+ years

of progressive Medical Affairs experience (Pharma/Biotech/HealthTech). Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent). Deep scientific expertise in

Oncology/Cancer

is essential. Proven experience utilizing

Real-World Evidence (RWE)

and data analytics to inform strategy. Understanding of or experience in

Emerging Markets

highly desirable. This is a

Required Skills

I. Technical & Clinical Expertise (Hard Skills)

Oncology/Cancer Expertise:

Deep scientific knowledge of the therapeutic area, targeted therapies, and standard of care.

Real-World Evidence (RWE) & Data:

Proficiency in RWE strategy, generation, interpretation, and working with large, diverse clinical datasets.

Precision Medicine:

Expertise in utilizing genomic, molecular, and patient data for strategic medical insights.

Medical Writing:

High proficiency in preparing and reviewing scientific publications (manuscripts, abstracts).

Clinical Research:

Strong knowledge of Phase II-IV trial design and execution, including non-interventional studies.

Biostatistics/Epidemiology:

Foundational understanding of methods used to interpret health data.

Digital Health/AI:

Familiarity with digital tools and the application of AI/ML in generating clinical insights.
II. Leadership & Strategic Skills (Soft Skills)

Strategic Planning:

Ability to develop and execute global medical affairs strategies aligned with business goals.

KOL Engagement:

Expert relationship-building skills with Key Opinion Leaders and scientific experts, particularly in emerging markets.

Cross-functional Leadership:

Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively with Data Science, Commercial, Regulatory, and Clinical teams.

Communication:

Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills, translating complex data into clear strategic messages.

Global Acumen:

Cultural competence and understanding of healthcare challenges and dynamics in emerging or high-growth international markets.

Compliance & Ethics:

Unwavering commitment to ethical practice and strict adherence to global healthcare compliance and regulatory guidelines.
