Preferred Educational Qualification for the role:

Post-graduate in Medical Sciences (MBBS/BAMS/ BHMS/BDS/ MD) with Diploma/Certificate course in Clinical Research/ Medical Writing

Preferred experience (Technical skills) for the role:

15-18 years of experience with at least 12 years of domain expertise in the Medical Affairs and Medical communications in Pharma, Medtech or medical communications organization.

Solid experience in pharmaceutical & Medtech Industry Drug Promotion and marketing guidelines & regulations, building effective strategies for Key Opinion Leaders (KOL)/ Health Care Professional (HCP) engagement across online/ offline channels.

Understanding of activities & processes across global, & local medical affairs sub-functions such as Scientific Content Creation, Promotional compliance, Medico-Legal Regulatory (MLR) Review) of Marketing content, Scientific evidence generation, Post Marketing Medical Affairs Trials, Competitive, market and Scientific intelligence, Medical Information management, HCP engagement, Medical Science Liaison (MSL) excellence ; Hands-on experience in use of medical affairs IT applications, platforms & systems such as Literature search & referencing tools, Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Management systems, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, Publication Management systems, Grant Management systems, electronic tools like eDMS (Document Management System), Digital Marketing channels, promotional compliance review tools and medical dashboards.

Job Purpose:

1. Provide medical expertise and strategic inputs for Business Analysis, Business Consulting, process improvement and trouble shooting for global Pharmaceuticals and Medical devices


2. Perform business processes mapping & benchmarking with industry best practices, Competitive product intelligence, Trend & Fit-Gap analysis, Prioritization of strategic initiatives along with high-level recommendations for streamlining with overall company objectives & vision
