We are seeking a professional and organised Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining smooth office operations and supporting various administrative functions. Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
Monitor daily functioning of patient care services in Dialysis, ICU, General/Speciality Wards, Physiotherapy, Oncology, Dietician, and Pharmacy.
Ensure timely and effective patient services by coordinating with nursing, medical, and paramedical teams.
Conduct regular rounds across departments to ensure cleanliness, service delivery, and adherence to protocols.
Address patient or family concerns proactively and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
2. Interdepartmental Coordination:
Act as a liaison between departments to resolve interdepartmental issues affecting patient care.
Ensure seamless communication between clinical staff and support services (e.g., diagnostics, pharmacy, dietary).
Coordinate with Pharmacy to monitor availability of critical drugs and patient medication requirements.
3. Patient Care Supervision:
Oversee the activities and effectiveness of the Patient Care Coordinators (PCCs) on all shifts.
Ensure PCCs are timely addressing patient admission, discharge, billing, and assistance needs.
Conduct regular meetings and training with PCCs to improve patient interaction and process compliance.
4. Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain logs of daily departmental rounds, escalations, and action taken.
Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports on patient service metrics and departmental issues.
Monitor departmental checklists, audit compliance, and suggest improvements where needed.
5. Quality and Compliance:
Ensure all departments follow hospital policies, infection control protocols, and patient safety guidelines.
Identify process gaps and support quality improvement initiatives.
Support NABH documentation and audit readiness in all assigned departments.
6. Department Overview
Ensure efficient functioning and coordination of daily operations in:
OT & Eye OT
CSSD
Cath Lab
Dressing Rooms
Radiology and Imaging
OPD
Pathology and Laboratory Units
Experience
Graduate/postgraduate in hospital administration, healthcare management, or a related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in hospital operations, preferably in a multi-speciality healthcare setup.
Experience in handling cross-functional hospital units and managing patient-facing staff is essential.
