Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and revenue-focused
Media Sales Manager
to lead advertisement and media sales for our magazine and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of advertisers and agencies, proven leadership skills, and the ability to drive consistent revenue growth across print, digital, and event-based media offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and drive
media & advertisement sales
across print magazines, digital platforms, and special editions
Develop and execute
sales strategies
to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
Manage, mentor, and grow a
sales team
, including target setting and performance tracking
Build and maintain strong relationships with
advertisers, media agencies, and key corporate clients
Pitch integrated media solutions including
print ads, digital ads, sponsored content, events, and partnerships
Negotiate high-value deals, rate cards, annual contracts, and long-term partnerships
Identify new revenue opportunities through
industry events, exhibitions, and special features
Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and design teams to ensure smooth campaign execution
Track sales pipeline, forecasts, and MIS reports using CRM tools
Represent the brand at industry forums, trade shows, and networking events
Required Skills & Qualifications
6-10 years of proven experience in
media sales / advertisement sales / magazine sales
Strong understanding of
print, digital, and integrated media sales models
Established network of
advertisers and media agencies
(B2B experience preferred)
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
B2B, industrial, or business magazines
Knowledge of
digital advertising, branded content, and event sponsorship sales
Familiarity with CRM tools, sales forecasting, and reporting
