Role overview



We're hiring a hands-on

Sales Executive -- BTL

to grow JK Events' BTL revenues in Ahmedabad and surrounding markets. This role is strictly BTL (Below The Line) -- no ATL responsibilities. You will be responsible for selling BTL activations, managing client relationships, converting leads into projects and coordinating with operations to deliver flawless on-ground executions. This is a field-centric, target-driven role with attractive incentives for meeting/exceeding targets.

Key responsibilities



Prospect, generate and close new BTL business (retail activations, roadshows, mall promotions, sampling, cantervan, mascot events, cinema & experiential activations). Manage end-to-end sales cycle: lead qualification, proposal creation, negotiation, contract closure, handover to operations and post-event feedback. Prepare persuasive proposals, rate cards and customised activation concepts matching client objectives and budgets. Hit monthly/quarterly revenue & activation KPIs; maintain accurate sales pipeline in CRM. Build and maintain relationships with retail chains, mall management, brand managers, distributors and local vendor partners. Co-ordinate with ops, production, logistics and creative teams to ensure feasibility and profitable delivery of projects. Track activation performance (attendance, leads generated, samples distributed, redemption rates) and provide concise post-activation reports to clients. Attend client meetings, pitches and local trade events; represent JK Events professionally in the market.

Target KPIs



Monthly revenue / new business target (numeric target set by manager). Number of activations booked per month/quarter. Gross margin / profitability per activation. Client retention / repeat business rate. Timely handover & execution (ops SLA adherence).

Must-have (required)



Up to 3 years of proven sales experience in BTL/event activations/field sales/activations (agency or client side). Strong field sales skills: cold calling, client meetings, negotiations and closing. Knowledge of on-ground activation formats (mall activations, retail promotions, roadshows, sampling, cantervan, cinema promotions etc.). Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and local language (Gujarati / Hindi). Comfortable with frequent travel / on-field work and flexible hours (events often on weekends). Good commercial acumen -- pricing, margins, basic P&L understanding. Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-have (preferred)



Existing relationships with retail chains, mall owners, local vendors, or FMCG/distribution contacts in Ahmedabad. Experience using CRM tools (Zoho/HubSpot/Salesforce) and MS Excel for pipeline reporting. Basic understanding of media buying / TTL campaigns (helps with coordination across ATL/BTL).
