As a Media Relations Associate at MathCo, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining MathCo's public image by strategically managing media relationships, coordinating for awards application, and exploring relevant speaker opportunities. Leveraging your background in journalism, communications, or PR, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to enhance MathCo's brand visibility and reputation. We are looking to hire a dedicated Campaign Specialist to boost business through digital campaigns. The Campaign manager will essentially be a T-shaped marketer to work across paid platforms- LinkedIn, Instagram, Google to formulate, run and optimize marketing campaigns.

Job Responsibilities

• Understand MathCo's key solutions and services and develop effective communication strategies to promote them externally.
• Lead the creation of a communications and public relations strategy that will help leadership to cultivate and enhance meaningful relationships with targeted, high-level external audiences, including the media and key influencers.
• Develop and manage relationships with key media outlets to enhance the profile of the company and its key executives.
• Design and develop communications materials like press releases, briefing documents, communications plans, corporate messaging, FAQ, media pitches, senior executive speeches/presentations, internal announcements, and client communications.
• Identify and evaluate relevant industry awards and recognition opportunities for MathCo. Prepare and submit award nominations, ensuring alignment with the company's achievements and strategic goals.
• Identify speaking opportunities at industry conferences, events, and webinars for MathCo leadership and subject matter experts.

Preferred Educational Qualifications

• Candidate must be based in Bangalore
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in journalism, communications, or public relations.
• Established media relations - business/ startup/ technology/ HR beat
• Preferred - a proven track record of successfully securing media coverage, industry awards, and speaker engagements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Candidates with experience in the space of B2B technology and/ or Start-up or entrepreneurial marketing experience will be preferred
Education/Qualification:
BMS/BBA/BBS.
