Job Description

The K-12 Curriculum Developer plays a crucial role in designing and enhancing Whizara's education initiatives, ensuring alignment with educational standards and goals. This position involves collaborating with Whizara's instructors, administrators, and other stakeholders to create engaging and effective curricula that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation among students.

Responsibilities:



Lead the design and development of comprehensive computer science and engineering curricula, incorporating best practices and innovative teaching methodologies, to create engaging lesson plans, activities, and assessments Ensure alignment of curricula with educational standards, learning objectives, and assessment criteria. Oversee the implementation of programs, monitor program effectiveness and make adjustments as necessary to improve student outcomes Create and coordinate resources, including materials, technology, and professional development opportunities for Whizara's instructors Provide training and support to instructors on effective teaching strategies, pedagogical approaches, and the integration of technology Foster a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating workshops and webinars Establish and maintain partnerships with industry stakeholders, research institutions, and community organizations Collaborate with external partners to develop experiential learning opportunities, internships, and mentorship programs for students. Develop and implement assessment strategies to measure student progress and program effectiveness Analyze data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform future curriculum development effort

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science and Engineering (Master's degree preferred) with a strong understanding of educational theory and practice. Prior experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational leadership roles. Knowledge of K-12 Computer science education and CTE standards, pedagogical approaches, and assessment techniques. Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders Experience in teacher training, professional development facilitation, or workshop delivery. Familiarity with educational technology tools and software applications used in STEM instruction Willingness to stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in the target fields and educational practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,659.58 - ₹70,000.00 per month
