Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified

Mechanical Engineer

to supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations at our fabrication factory in

Domjur, Howrah

. The candidate will play a key role in managing contract-based projects, overseeing fabrication processes, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring project timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise fabrication, assembly, and production activities on the shop floor. Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and labor teams to ensure smooth execution of work. Maintain quality and safety standards in the manufacturing process. Monitor machine operations and resolve technical issues promptly. Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and maintain progress reports. Liaise with the N.S. Road office for planning, scheduling, and material management. Prepare daily/weekly reports on project status and manpower utilization.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum

2-5 years

of experience in fabrication work, production supervision, or factory management. Hands-on knowledge of mechanical drawings, tools, materials, and shop-floor equipment. Experience in handling contractual projects or working with fabrication vendors is a plus.

Leadership and team management Problem-solving and decision-making Strong communication and coordination skills Basic knowledge of MS Office and production planning Familiarity with safety standards and compliance

Working Hours:

Monday to Saturday | 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM
(Occasional overtime based on project deadlines)
