Job Summary

: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented

Production Engineer

to join our team in the automation solutions and PVC pipe manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will oversee the production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to industry standards. This role demands expertise in automation systems, production planning, and a deep understanding of PVC pipe manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to meet output and quality targets. Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production lines.

Automation Solutions:

Design, install, and maintain automation systems to streamline production. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated equipment to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with the engineering team to upgrade existing systems and implement new technologies.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications, with a focus on durability and precision in PVC pipes. Identify and resolve production defects, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed. Maintain detailed documentation of quality control tests and production data.

Maintenance and Safety:

Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely servicing and upkeep of machinery and equipment. Implement workplace safety measures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Conduct training sessions for operators on machinery usage and safety protocols.

Collaboration and Reporting:

Work closely with the design, procurement, and sales teams to align production with business goals. Prepare and present production reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and improvement opportunities. Support the development of cost-saving initiatives and resource optimization strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

2-4 years of experience in production engineering, preferably in the PVC pipe or automation solutions industry. Hands-on experience with automated manufacturing systems and tools.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of PVC pipe production processes, materials, and industry standards. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and familiarity with PLC programming and robotics. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
