Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced

Mechanical or Automobile Engineer

to lead the maintenance operations for construction equipment and vehicles. The ideal candidate should possess extensive hands-on experience in

repairs, servicing, and preventive maintenance

of heavy machinery, and be capable of managing workshops, technicians, and spare parts operations efficiently.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Oversee and execute

periodic and preventive maintenance

of all construction equipment and vehicles. Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues through hands-on technical intervention when required. Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime. Build, lead, and manage a team of maintenance technicians and workshop staff. Ensure availability and optimal utilization of spare parts and maintenance materials. Maintain detailed records of equipment performance, service history, and breakdown analysis. Implement maintenance best practices to enhance reliability, efficiency, and safety standards. Coordinate with project and operations teams to support equipment requirements at sites. Monitor vendor services and ensure cost-effective maintenance solutions.

Preferred Profile:

Education:

BE/Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum 20 years, preferably in the

Construction Equipment Vehicle (CEV)

sector. Must have hands-on experience in

repairs, maintenance, and servicing

of equipment -- not from the manufacturing line.

Experience in spare parts management

and workshop operations will be an added advantage. Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Compensation:

Salary will be

commensurate with age, experience, and current package

.

Pay: ?60,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
