Position Overview

We are looking for a

responsible and experienced Transport Driver

to support the logistics and dispatch functions of our Jamshedpur plant. The driver will be responsible for

safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods, raw materials, and company personnel

, including

outstation driving duties

for client site deliveries, AMC/ARC support, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate company-owned vehicles (LMV/HMV as applicable) for transporting machines, spare parts, materials, and staff. Handle

outstation deliveries

to client sites across India, ensuring proper route planning and timely delivery. Assist loading/unloading of goods in coordination with the logistics & dispatch team. Conduct routine inspection and basic maintenance of vehicles (fuel check, oil level, tire condition, etc.). Maintain accurate

logbooks, mileage records, and trip sheets

. Ensure compliance with all

RTO/transportation rules, permits, and company policies

. Coordinate with the Logistics & Dispatch Executive for scheduling trips and delivery priorities. Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of the assigned vehicle. Report any mechanical issues, delays, or incidents promptly to the reporting manager. Adhere to safety regulations and promote responsible driving culture within the company.

Key Requirements

Valid driving license for LMV/HMV (as per vehicle requirement). Minimum

3-5 years of experience

in driving, preferably in manufacturing/logistics setup. Familiar with

outstation routes across India

(experience in long-distance driving preferred). Knowledge of

basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting

. Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and time management. Ability to handle loading/unloading assistance when required. Flexibility for

night travel, outstation assignments, and extended working hours

as per operational needs.

Education

Minimum 10th Pass (higher qualification preferred). Basic literacy to maintain trip records/logbooks.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: As per company norms & experience. Benefits: PF, ESIC, Bonus, Paid Leaves, Travel Allowances (DA/TA for outstation duties), and other company benefits.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
