About the Role:

We are a metallurgical testing laboratory looking for a Mechanical Testing Engineer with hands-on experience in mechanical testing of metals. The candidate will be responsible for conducting tests as per standards and preparing accurate test reports.

Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical tests such as tensile, impact, hardness, bend, and compression tests Operate testing equipment like UTM, impact testing machines, and hardness testers Prepare and verify test specimens as per standards Record test results and prepare reports Follow ISO 17025 / NABL laboratory procedures Maintain equipment and test records Coordinate with internal teams and customers when required

Requirements:

Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 2 years of experience in a metallurgical or testing laboratory Knowledge of ASTM / ISO / IS standards Experience with UTM, impact, and hardness testing machines Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word) Experience in NABL-accredited lab is preferred

Salary:

As per experience and industry standards
