We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team across India. The selected candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems, machinery, and industrial equipment. This role requires extensive hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and the ability to work in diverse industrial settings.
Stipend: 10,000 per month
Duration: 3 months
Key Responsibilities:
1. Equipment Maintenance & Repair:
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and machinery.
Diagnose faults in mechanical equipment and conduct necessary repairs, replacements, and overhauls.
Maintain and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, rotating, and static equipment.
Ensure lubrication, alignment, and calibration of mechanical components as per manufacturer guidelines.
2. Installation & Commissioning:
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines, industrial tools, and mechanical equipment.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide installations.
Align and set up motors, pumps, pressure testing and valves.
3. Troubleshooting & Fault Diagnosis:
Quickly identify mechanical failures and apply root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence.
Work with electrical and automation teams to resolve electromechanical faults.

Safety & Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, service logs, and breakdown reports.
Preparation of plan and work flow complete the Deployment Successfully without any lags.
Prepare and submit inspection reports, spare parts inventory updates, and work completion certificates.
Provide feedback to the engineering team for continuous improvements.
6. Coordination & Teamwork:
Work closely with engineers, operational team, and other technicians to minimize downtime.
Train and guide junior technicians on maintenance best practices.
Assist in procurement by identifying required spare parts and consumables.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Requirements:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fitter, or relevant trade.
B.Tech / B.E. (preferred for higher technical roles).
Experience:
0-1 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, servicing, or field support.
Experience in industries like oil & gas, heavy equipment.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, pipe size & following adapter fittings, welding, and fabrication.
Experience in maintaining pumps, motors, compressors and valves.
Ability to operate lathe machines, milling machines, and other workshop tools.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, automation, and instrumentation is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to travel and adapt to different working environments.
Work Environment & Conditions:
Field-based job requiring extensive travel across India.
Work may involve weekend duties, and emergency call-outs.
Exposure to industrial environments, including factories, power plants, refineries, and construction sites.
May require working at heights, confined spaces, or extreme temperatures.
