Carry out daily operation and preventive maintenance of pumps, blowers, agitators, compressors, valves, and pipelines.
Monitor mechanical systems (clarifiers, filters, centrifuges, aerators, etc.) to ensure optimal performance.
Perform lubrication, alignment, tightening, and replacement of worn-out parts as per maintenance schedules.
Breakdown and Corrective Maintenance
Diagnose mechanical issues and perform troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Replace defective components and assist in overhauling mechanical equipment.
Maintain mechanical spares inventory for critical ETP equipment.
Monitoring & Reporting
Maintain daily maintenance logs and breakdown reports.
Record equipment readings, mechanical performance parameters, and maintenance activity reports.
Coordinate with the ETP operator for process performance feedback.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all safety procedures, PPE usage, and permit-to-work systems during maintenance.
Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines.
Support in audits and inspections by pollution control authorities.
Support Activities
Assist in ETP upgradation, modification, and installation of new mechanical systems.
Work in coordination with the electrical and instrumentation teams during shutdown or major maintenance.
Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around ETP equipment and mechanical workshop areas.
Continuous Improvement
Suggest and implement mechanical reliability improvement ideas.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive action planning.
Ensure cost-effective maintenance without compromising on quality and safety.
