Summary: Mechanical System Engineer with bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering and relevant experience in a design office of repute.Experience in process system engineering for large scale water transmission system including but not limited to the followings: Reporting and Working Relationships: Reports to the Mechanical Engineering Group Supervisor (EGS). Works in close coordination with other Mechanical Engineers and Subject Matter Experts(SMEs) in other offices, nominated for project execution activities. Have working relationship and coordination with all other disciplines and all other entities within theProject execution team - Project Engineers, Owner representatives and other stake holders like , Construction , Quality, ES&H, Procurement and Project Controls representatives to ensure cross-functional alignment. Essential Duties (Scope): This role will help in the development, review, and finalization of critical project deliverables like : Design Criteria. Design calculations for flow and pressure-drop. Data sheets, Project specifications, Material and Service Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations. System Descriptions. Generate PIDs. Any other Study / Report required during project execution activities for Mechanical packages 2. Basic Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university. Minimum 4 years of experience in Mechanical System Design & Engineering for Power Projects. Candidate should have worked on main plant or BOP area engineering for combined cycle or coal based projects. Good knowledge of mechanical Equipment and packages related to the above plants -Static /Rotating equipment. Packages/ WWT/ Inert Gas distribution systems, Bulk Chemicals storage & distributiion. Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards and codes relevant to the discipline. Experience for Grade 23 : 4-6 years Experience for Grade 24: 6-11 years
