Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities for static and rotating equipment to ensure reliability and availability targets are met. Plan, schedule, and allocate jobs to mechanical technicians and contractors, ensuring optimal resource utilization. Ensure all maintenance and repair works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company HSE policies and PTW (Permit to Work) procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical equipment issues, escalating complex problems to discipline engineers as necessary. Review and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and specifications for maintenance tasks. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment as required. Coordinate with Operations and other disciplines to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities. Monitor and ensure effective implementation of preventive maintenance programs. Assist in the preparation of maintenance budgets, materials, spare parts requisitions, and work plans. Verify and ensure proper completion of maintenance records, job cards, and reports in the CMMS (SAP/MAXIMO or equivalent). Mentor and train mechanical technicians to build technical competency within the team. Participate in safety toolbox talks, job safety analyses (JSA), and risk assessments for mechanical activities. Ensure contractor personnel comply with site rules and safety standards while executing mechanical works.
