Qualification:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in plant maintenance or industrial operations.

Supervise and coordinate all mechanical maintenance activities across the plant to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations. Monitor performance and condition of mechanical equipment such as compressors, pumps, pipelines, valves, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels. Lead a team of technicians and fitters, assigning daily tasks and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules in coordination with plant operations. Inspect mechanical installations and systems regularly to identify faults, wear and tear, or potential failures. Ensure proper documentation of maintenance records, reports, and spare part usage. Maintain inventory of critical mechanical spares and raise procurement requests as needed. Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and statutory compliance during all mechanical works. Support commissioning activities of new equipment or plant modifications. Liaise with vendors, contractors, and other departments for timely completion of mechanical works.
