Supervise, mentor, and direct the activities of mechanics, technicians, and foremen to ensure tasks are completed correctly and efficiently.
Maintenance planning and execution:
Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for equipment, create maintenance plans, and oversee the execution of repair and installation work.
Safety and compliance:
Ensure all work is performed according to safety protocols, industry standards, and relevant regulations.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving:
Diagnose mechanical issues, analyze their root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Quality control:
Inspect work to ensure it meets required standards and quality levels.
Record-keeping and reporting:
Maintain records of work performed, track costs, and report on key metrics, reliability, and maintenance activities.
Project management:
Coordinate project activities, manage budgets for maintenance work, and work with other departments or engineers on project planning and implementation.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
