We are hiring a Mechanical Structural Engineer for site-based project execution in Tumkur, Karnataka. The role requires hands-on experience in industrial structural works, fabrication, erection supervision, and QA/QC documentation.
Responsibilities
Supervise fabrication & erection of structural works (columns, beams, supports, pipe racks)
Review drawings, GAs, isometrics, and ensure execution as per design
Conduct fit-up, visual welding checks, dimensional inspection & reporting
Coordinate with contractors, vendors & project team for work progress
Monitor material availability, site activities & daily execution planning
Prepare inspection reports, punch list closure, and site documentation
Ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements, safety standards & site procedures
Requirements
Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
7-8 years of structural fabrication & erection execution / QA-QC experience
Ability to read drawings, prepare reports & handle coordination independently
Work experience in industrial or infrastructure projects preferred
