Job Description

Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor all mechanical activities at the project site. Ensure installation and fabrication work as per approved drawings and specifications. Plan daily work and allocate tasks to technicians and workers. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&ID, and equipment layouts. Inspect materials and ensure quality compliance with project standards. Oversee mechanical systems installation (piping, HVAC, fire-fighting, equipment erection). Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide on-site solutions. Ensure strict safety compliance and conduct daily toolbox talks. Coordinate with civil, electrical, vendors, and subcontractors for smooth workflow. Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation. Monitor material availability and raise requisition when required. Prevent material wastage and ensure proper handling of tools and equipment. Follow QA/QC procedures and maintain inspection records. Assist in testing, commissioning, and preparation of as-built documents.
