Production Engineer -

This is a mid-level position responsible for carrying out production in a timely manner without degrading the quality of Multitechh Engi Fab (MEF) jobs. Works with limited supervision from a detailed specification that clearly spells out every requirement for the specific job. The job requires each weld to be completed to the specified standards using appropriate equipment and materials while following the employer's recommended procedures. It's also important to observe applicable safety precautions, to minimize the risk of injury to the welder or other workers nearby. The Production Engineer will supervise a team of welders, fabricators, fitters and helpers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Reads and interprets drawings, especially all type of tanks. Expertise knowledge in welding Works with different types and sizes of materials Safely operates all the machines and tools Works well with other departments on location Plan, manage, and oversee all elements of production in Plant Assess and analyze current production methods Develop and draft an improved production process Design and implement cost-reductive changes Maximize the productivity of machinery and workers Follow product specifications and quality control measures Determine which machines, tools, equipment, etc. will be used and where they will be stationed in the facility Determine how many workers are needed to man the production line Train, supervise, and manage production line workers Increase speed and efficiency of processes without compromising quality Develop and implement quality control measures that effectively monitor products and guarantees desired results Ensure all steps of the production run smoothly and efficiently Educate employees on proper methods in which to operate and engage with machinery Diagnose the origin of breakdowns (including human error) and troubleshoot problems Work within set budgetary plans for the project Communicate with clients and vendors to obtain materials and/or equipment needed

Basic Qualifications

B.E in Mechanical Engineering with two years of work experience or Minimum three years related experience and/or training Must have proven experience in managing a group of people Must have knowledge of different types and sizes of structural materials Must have knowledge of weld fittings Knowledge of different types and sizes of pipe, structural and vessel materials

Physical Strain:

Standard requirements. Bending, squatting, climbing, stooping, twisting and reaching will all be required occasionally in this position Standing for long periods of time Must meet all ISO and company requirements
