Internship Responsibilities
Support production and machining operations on CNC and VMC machines.
Assist in process planning, fixture design, and tool selection.
Work with engineers on assembly kitting for aerospace & defence applications.
Learn and apply GD&T concepts, tolerance stack-ups, and technical drawings.
Support quality checks, in-process inspection, and documentation.
Gain exposure to AS9100D / ISO 9001:2015 standards in aerospace manufacturing.
Participate in continuous improvement activities (5S, Kaizen, Lean concepts).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on prototyping and production projects.
Skills to Learn / Develop
Hands-on exposure to CNC machining, VMC operations, and tooling practices.
Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD/CAM basics.
Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and industry requirements.
Problem-solving skills through real-time production challenges.
Professional workplace skills teamwork, documentation, and reporting.
Candidate Profile
Recently completed B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing Engineering.
Passion for manufacturing, machining, and aerospace/defence engineering.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical design.
Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a startup environment.
Strong interest in aerospace/defence sector careers.
