certifications. The position involves quality inspection of welded components, pressure parts, fabrication items and related documentation as per project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Perform stage-wise inspection of fabrication activities including fit-up, welding, dimensional checks and final visual inspection
Review WPS, PQR, WPQ, NDT procedures and ensure compliance
Conduct NDT Level II activities such as VT, PT, MT, UT (as per certification)
Validate material certificates, heat numbers and maintain traceability
Monitor welding processes, consumables, parameters and welder qualifications
Prepare inspection reports, checklists, NCRs and quality documentation
Coordinate with vendors, fabrication shop teams and client inspectors
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (ASME/AWS/ISO)
Support project team in inspection planning, daily reporting and quality closure
Requirements
Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
7-8 years of QC inspection experience in
fabrication, welding & pressure parts
Valid
NDT Level II
certifications (VT/PT/MT/UT preferred)
Strong understanding of fabrication drawings, tolerances and QA/QC processes
Ability to coordinate with vendors, site teams and client representatives
Good documentation, reporting and communication skills
Immediate joiners preferred
