Job Description

Astrome Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical QC Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of our parts and processes through rigorous inspections, implementation of quality control measures, and identification of areas for improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality products.

• The primary duties includes inspection the parts at Vendor sites, Develop quality control system and Co-ordinating with vendors for corrective actions.
• The candidate should have hands on experince on all inspection tools.
• The candidate will be inspecting the Material, Parts and Processes.
• Working closely with the other inter departments to achieve the company goals.

Requirements

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E in Mechanical with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Required male candidates only.
• Experience in CNC machined / Sheet metal / Polymer / 3D printed parts inspection. Should be able to co-ordinate with the vendors.
• Should have experience in reading part drawings, CMM reports and prepare inspection reports.
• Should have good knowledge in Manufacturing and Fabrication processes.
• Must have a good understanding of the environmental tests as per product qualification standards, like MIL-STD-810, QM333 etc..
• Should be well-versed with GD&T and ASME Y14.5 drafting standards.
• Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision and also capable of handling additional field activities and responsibilities.
