We are hiring experienced

Mechanical QC Engineers

for site-based QA/QC inspection activities at Kattupalli, Tamil Nadu. The role includes stage-wise inspection, welding quality checks, coordination with contractors and client teams, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct QA/QC inspections for fabrication, welding, piping, equipment installation and structural works Review drawings, WPS/PQR/WPQ, ITP/QAP and project specifications Perform fit-up, welding visual inspection, dimensional checks & final stage inspections Coordinate with contractors, client inspectors and third-party teams Verify material traceability, MTCs, heat numbers and consumables Review NDT reports (RT, UT, MT, PT, etc.) Raise and track NCRs, corrective actions (CAPA) and deviation reports Prepare daily inspection reports and QA/QC documentation Ensure compliance with ASME, AWS and project standards

Requirements

BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 8 years QA/QC experience in fabrication, welding & piping Strong knowledge of ASME codes, material standards and NDT Experience in EPC, heavy engineering, refineries or industrial sites Good documentation, reporting and coordination skills
