Responsibilities

Design and Development:

Create and refine mechanical systems, components, and products using principles of physics, math, and engineering.

Analysis and Testing:

Conduct experiments and simulations to evaluate and validate the performance and safety of designs.

Technical Documentation:

Produce technical drawings, specifications, and reports for team reference and to guide machine operators.

Problem-Solving:

Analyze and resolve deficiencies in processes and product designs to find innovative and efficient solutions.

Project Management:

Monitor project progress, estimate budgets and timeframes, and collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams.

Compliance and Quality:

Ensure that designs and products meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality control programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:

A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is generally required.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in CAD software and potentially other programs like CAM, Matlab, or LabView.

Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail for analyzing data and resolving complex issues.

Problem-Solving:

Exceptional ability to approach complex problems and develop creative solutions.

Collaboration:

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, other engineers, and various stakeholders.

Communication:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing technical documents and presenting design plans.
