Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Manufacturing

Plan and execute day-to-day

production and fabrication activities

Ensure manufacturing of equipment as per

approved drawings, QAP, and project specifications

Monitor

shop-floor activities

including machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, and testing Optimize manpower, machines, and materials to achieve production targets
Process Equipment & Fabrication

Hands-on exposure to manufacturing of: Pressure vessels, reactors, columns, heat exchangers Skid-mounted / modular systems Structural fabrication and piping spools Ensure compliance with

ASME, TEMA, IS, and other applicable codes

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Coordinate with QA/QC for

stage-wise inspections, dimensional checks, and documentation

Ensure adherence to

welding procedures (WPS/PQR), NDT, and hydro/pneumatic testing

Implement

safety practices

on shop floor and ensure compliance with HSE norms
Planning & Coordination

Prepare and track

production schedules

aligned with project timelines Coordinate with

design/engineering

for drawing clarifications and revisions Interface with

procurement and stores

for material availability Support project managers with production status and reporting
Cost & Productivity Improvement

Monitor material consumption, wastage, and rework Implement

process improvements, lean manufacturing, and productivity enhancement initiatives

Support cost reduction through optimized fabrication methods
Documentation & Reporting

Maintain production records, daily progress reports, and manufacturing logs Support preparation of

Manufacturing Record Book (MRB)

and as-built documentation
Required Skills & QualificationsEducation

B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in

Mechanical Engineering

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of

fabrication drawings and GA drawings

Knowledge of

welding processes (GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, SAW)

Familiarity with pressure equipment manufacturing standards Experience in

process equipment or heavy fabrication industry

Soft Skills

Strong leadership and shop-floor coordination skills Problem-solving and decision-making ability Good communication and team management skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?12,323.51 - ?51,724.01 per month
