Equinox Design Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. is a 100% subsidiary of Equinox Engineering Ltd, Calgary-based EPCM firm. We are the market leader in oil and gas processing, specializing in facilities design, implementation and operational assistance for natural gas, conventional and heavy oil projects. Our clients include several of the largest oil & gas producers in Canada and worldwide, and we are currently executing a wide range of sweet gas, sour gas, conventional oil, heavy oil facility and pipeline projects.

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Package Engineer will support EPCM oil & gas and energy projects by preparing material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and mechanical deliverables for equipment such as pressure vessels, storage tanks, pumps, compressors, and heat exchangers. The role involves reviewing vendor documents for technical compliance, working with international standards and codes, and coordinating with global project teams to deliver high-quality engineering packages.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare Material Requisition packages for different types of mechanical equipment like: + Pressure Vessels
+ Storage Tanks, API 650
+ Pumps, API 610
+ Compressors, API 617 & 618
+ Heat Exchangers
Prepare TBE (Technical Bid Evaluations) for mechanical equipment. Review Vendor Documents/Drawings to ensure compliance with client/project specifications. Complete mechanical deliverables like: + Mechanical Equipment Lists

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

EPC work experience is an asset. Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good working knowledge of Static and/or Rotating Equipment Design. Experience working on North American & Australian projects is an asset. Good knowledge of Equipment Codes & Standards (ASME, API, CSA). Familiarity with ASME Section VIII (Division 1 & 2) and API 610/617. Knowledge of software like PV Elite and Compress is an asset.

Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 5+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience Experience with working in an EPCM environment
