Job Summary:

We are seeking a

Mechanical Metal Design Engineer

experienced in

CNC machine handling and metal fabrication

for gym and sports equipment manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for

designing, developing, and machining precision components

, ensuring product quality, accuracy, and structural strength for heavy-duty fitness and sports equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop

metal and mechanical parts

for gym and sports goods using

SolidWorks / AutoCAD.

Prepare

3D models, detailed engineering drawings, and CNC programs

for machining and fabrication. Operate, set up, and monitor

CNC milling, turning, and laser cutting machines

. Collaborate with production and assembly teams to ensure

fit, finish, and functionality

of components. Conduct

tolerance analysis and quality checks

for precision metal parts. Select suitable

materials, tools, and machining parameters

for optimized performance and cost efficiency. Design and develop

fixtures, jigs, and tooling

required for CNC operations. Support

prototype development, testing, and product validation

. Ensure

safety, durability, and ergonomic standards

in equipment design. Continuously improve product designs and manufacturing processes for efficiency and reliability.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of

CNC Programming (G & M Codes), CAM software (Fusion 360 / Mastercam)

. Proficiency in

SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar 3D design tools

. Hands-on experience in

metal fabrication, welding, and machining

. Understanding of

GD&T, tolerances, and mechanical assembly design

. Knowledge of

strength analysis, load-bearing design

, and

sports equipment structure

. Problem-solving attitude and ability to work in a production-driven environment.

Qualification & Experience:

B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

.

3-7 years

of experience in

Metal design, CNC machining, or fabrication

, preferably in

GYM/Sports goods or heavy equipment manufacturing

.
