Job Description

A Mechanical Maintenance Manager plans, coordinates, and oversees all mechanical maintenance operations to ensure machinery, equipment, and facilities run efficiently and safely. Key responsibilities include developing maintenance strategies, managing a team of technicians, scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical failures, managing budgets and parts inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Planning & Execution:
Develop and implement maintenance schedules for mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.
Team Management:
Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate maintenance technicians and engineers.
Troubleshooting & Repairs:
Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure timely repairs.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:
Establish and oversee programs for preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to company safety policies and regulatory standards.
Budget & Inventory:
Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and oversee the procurement and management of spare parts.
Vendor Management:
Coordinate and manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance work.
Performance Monitoring:
Analyze maintenance data and trends to identify areas for improvement and enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills
