Core Responsibilities

Planned Maintenance (PMI) & Breakdowns

Create

monthly preventive maintenance schedules

and make sure they're executed. Minimize downtime by

fixing breakdowns quickly

. Adjust maintenance schedules to prevent

repeated failures

. Maintain

equipment history cards

and analyze breakdown causes.

Spares & Material Management

Keep track of

spare parts inventory

. Inspect incoming materials for quality. Request needed parts from purchase.

Technical Work

Understand

blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals

. Coordinate with engineers to

fix operational problems

. Research and evaluate

new equipment

before installation. Recommend design changes to

improve performance or reduce failures

.

Supervision & Team Handling

Lead

mechanics and electricians

. Oversee installation, operation, and repairs. Ensure

safety systems and work permits

are strictly followed.

Reporting & Documentation

Prepare SOPs for each equipment. Submit

MIS reports

daily/monthly. Perform

root cause analysis

and implement corrective measures.

Requirements

Education

: BE/BTech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

: At least

6 years

in maintenance in a manufacturing setup.

Skills

: Strong maintenance knowledge (mechanical + basic electrical). Ability to manage technicians. Flexible to work extra hours/shifts.

Physical Requirement

: Must be fit, with no allergies to

heat/dust

.

Age

: 25-45 years.

Salary

: Negotiable, based on skills.

Preference

: Immediate joiners.

They're looking for a

hands-on, shop-floor-oriented

maintenance engineer, not just a planner. Safety compliance is heavily emphasized (work permit system, IMS roles). Knowledge of

root cause analysis, preventive maintenance, and technical documentation

is key. Flexibility and physical fitness are important due to the industrial environment.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
