Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

with hands-on experience in the

pipe and steel manufacturing industry

. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining heavy machinery and must have worked extensively with

hydraulic and pneumatic systems

. This role is critical in ensuring the continuous operation of mechanical systems and minimizing equipment downtime in a demanding production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on heavy mechanical equipment including rolling mills, pipe mills, straighteners, slitting lines, and cutting machines. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair

hydraulic and pneumatic systems

used in high-load applications and automation processes. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Inspect and service gearboxes, bearings, rotary components, chains, rollers, and conveyors. Assist in planning and execution of plant shutdowns and overhauls. Coordinate with production and electrical teams to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance. Maintain accurate maintenance records, machine history, and spare parts inventory. Suggest and implement improvements in equipment performance and energy efficiency. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulatory guidelines. Supervise mechanical technicians and fitters and provide technical guidance as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 8-10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a

pipe and steel manufacturing environment

. Proven experience in working with

hydraulic and pneumatic systems

--installation, troubleshooting, and repair. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems such as mills, conveyors, and rotary equipment.

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
