Reliability engineering: Lead the development and implementation of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and predictive maintenance programs to ensure the high availability of critical production assets.
Team management: Lead and inspire a team of maintenance professionals, including Deputy Managers and engineers. Oversee their performance, development, and adherence to safety and quality protocols.
Troubleshooting and failure analysis: Direct the team in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical failures, focusing on Root Cause Analysis to implement long-term solutions.
Process improvement: Identify and lead mechanical process improvement projects aimed at increasing throughput, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing product quality.
Budget and resource planning: Manage the annual maintenance budget for the mechanical department, including forecasting future needs for parts, services, and capital investments.
Quality control: Work closely with the Quality department to ensure all mechanical processes support the high-quality standards required for oxygen-free copper and alloy products.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 8-12 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or reliability engineering, with significant experience in a continuous casting or rolling mill environment. Experience with furnaces and other heavy foundry equipment is essential.
Skills: Expertise in advanced maintenance strategies, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and materials science. Strong leadership and communication skills are a must.
Certifications: CMRP certification and knowledge of metallurgical processes are highly valued.
