to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and reliable automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead
design and development of automation systems, SPMs, and pick-and-place equipment
Handle and mentor a team of design engineers
, driving design quality and efficiency
Plan and manage multiple projects
, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
Take ownership of
automation projects from scratch (concept-to-deployment)
Lead
design planning, Design Approval Process (DAP), and design review cycles
Create and validate
3D models, detailed engineering drawings, and BOMs
Apply
GD&T, DFM, DFA, and Maintenance Ease
principles across all designs
Troubleshoot and solve complex design and manufacturing problems
Take over existing machines, analyse issues, and redesign/optimize them
for performance, cost, and reliability
Work with
sheet metal, machining, fabrication, and advanced manufacturing processes
Collaborate with
R&D, manufacturing, procurement, and assembly teams
for prototyping and validation
Maintain
complete design documentation, project tracking, and compliance
with internal quality standards
Product Development:
Lead and support the full product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialization. This includes brainstorming, design, prototyping, and testing new products.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or Design Engineering
Experience:
10+ years in mechanical design (automation/machine building preferred)
